You are invited to join us in our quest for joy at North Shore Baptist Church.

Did you know that God wants us to have Joy? Psalm 37:4 says to, "Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart." In fact, as radical as it sounds, the Bible says that Christ went to the cross for sinners because of the joy set before Him (Hebrews 12:2). I want to invite you to consider where you find your joy. Is it primarily in God, and not His creation (good though it is)?

Listen to the words of the great Christian philosopher Blaise Pascal: "There once was in man a true happiness of which now remain to him only the mark and empty trace, which he in vain tries to fill from all his surroundings, seeking from things absent the help he does not obtain in things present. But these are all inadequate, because the infinite abyss can only be filled by an infinite and immutable object, that is to say, only by God Himself."

It is our desire that everyone experience the true joy that comes through fellowship with God, through His Son Jesus Christ. May God Himself fill you with His joy.

North Shore Baptist Church is located 1.7 miles west of Highway 1 on Lowell Street, just behind the parsonage. Parking is available in our parking lot, and on the street behind the church.
